Thanks to your generosity, important work to preserve and beautify our historic church continues this summer.
Restoration of the church foundation is now underway. As repairs began, additional stone damage was discovered on the north side of the building, requiring more extensive work than originally anticipated. We are also repairing and sealing the front steps to help protect the church for years to come.
At the same time, beautiful new angel murals are being created for the framed space behind the high altar, based on the church’s original early 1900s artwork. This project is being fully funded through the generosity of an anonymous parishioner.
We are also beginning to plan for the replacement of our church roof, a critical project recommended by the Diocese to safeguard all of the restoration work already completed. Thanks to your faithful offertory support, we have already set aside $100,000 toward this effort, with additional funds from the Annual Appeal helping us move closer to our goal.
Thank you for your continued generosity and love for St. Mary. Your support is helping preserve this sacred home so that future generations may encounter the beauty of Christ here.
