Choir Announcements: On July 20th from 7-8 p.m. we'll have our first 'open' choir practice for our 'Celebration Choir' (new and classic hymns in vocal harmonies).  Our 1st order of business will be to rehearse for Fr. Garland's Installation Mass which will be on August 8th at the 11:30 Mass.  We will rehearse EVERY TUESDAY FOR ONE HOUR in preparation for the 9 AM Mass once per month.  The beauty is that if you miss a practice there will be another 'next' week.

Along with the Celebration Choir, we will also soon beginning the Resurrection Choir (funeral choir) and Mens Latin Choir (beginning in August). Please contact our music director, John Blasko, if you're interested in joining the choir!

Knights of Columbus Farmer's Market: The Knights are beginning their 14th season of the farmer's market taking place on Sundays. They're set up outside the Knights of Columbus Hall (white house) across the street from church on Henry Street. 

Interested in social activities and camaraderie amongst peers 55 and over?  Join us on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, from 1-3 pm on the 3rd floor of the parish office (elevator access).  This first meet and greet will also serve as a planning meeting for the start of this new group at St Mary. Also, come with or submit ideas for naming this group. Don’t let transportation be a hindrance as we are working to provide rides to those who need it. Fr. Garland's Installation Mass: You are invited to the Installation Mass of Reverend Brett R. Garland as the twenty-ninth pastor of St. Mary Catholic Church on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. with The Most Reverend Robert J. Brennan presiding.

PLEASE NOTE: Sunday Livestream will occur at 11:30 a.m. that Sunday as opposed to the regular 9:00 a.m.

Spaghetti Dinner Celebration: To celebrate Fr. Garland's Installation as pastor at St. Mary parish, the Knights of Columbus & St. Mary Women's Group are sponsoring a Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, August 14th from 6-8 p.m. in the Beitel Commons. Proctecting God's Children - Zoom Session: St. Mary will once again host a Protecting God's Children Session via Zoom on Wednesday, August 25th at 6pm. Register online @ Deadline to register is Monday, Aug. 23, 2021. SPECIAL NOTE: PLEASE BE AWARE SPACE IS LIMITED. Please sign up as soon as possible as this session is open to the Diocese and not only St. Mary members.

St. Mary Bereavement Committee: St Mary is blessed to have a group of dedicated volunteers who help serve and prepare a meal for those who celebrate their funeral at St Mary.  We have teams of volunteers who assist by serving and providing main dishes, sides, salads and desserts on the day of the funeral for their loved ones, family and friends. Mass Ushers Needed: As we resume our lives and begin attending Mass on a regular basis we are in need of four (4) Hospitality/Ushers at each Mass. If you are interested in helping with this important ministry, please contact Cathy Bennett by email or phone, or 740-363-4641 Ext. 115.

Livestream Help Needed: We are in need of help live-streaming the Sunday 9am mass. Presently, our volunteers help one weekend a month but would like to extend this to once every other month. Interested in helping? Please contact Amy Lenocker at

School Shoes, Supplies & Eyes: People In Need of Delaware County is getting geared up for the 2021 Fall School Year! PIN is in the 30th year of providing shoes and supplies to low-to-moderate income children who reside in Delaware County. This year they are adding GLASSES/vision assistance to those children as well by partnering with optical professionals in Delaware County.

Hallow app: This Lent we encourage all parishioners to download the free Hallow Catholic Prayer and Meditation App. The app includes daily Gospel, guest talks, various prayers, sacred music, and short Scripture reflections. In just a few minutes a day, the app helps us pray daily and grow closer to God this Lent.

St. Mary Parish Office Hours:  We are open Mondays through Thursdays from 8:30am  - 2pm and Fridays from 8:30am - noon. The door is locked for security reasons.
