St. Vincent de Paul Volunteers gather to receive and organize donations.

Once again, our St. Mary parishioners overwhelmingly supported the SVdP Clothing Drive held on Saturday, April 18, 2026. We extend heartfelt thanks to all who donated clothing, food, linens, housewares, and small appliances for distribution through the St. Francis Center in Vinton County.

Your generosity provided:

  •  4,877 pounds of clothing

  •  168 pounds of food

  •  1,061 pounds of household and personal care items

The Director of the St. Francis Center has expressed deepest appreciation for this

3.053 ton collection, noting that the substantial clothing donation alone will help the center keep pace with ongoing needs.

We thank you for your continued generosity and ask for your prayers as we strive to serve those in need. May God bless you and our entire St. Mary family for your

compassion, care, and unwavering support.

ABOUT ST. MARY
ADDRESS

Under the patronage of Our Blessed Mother, and rooted in the Roman Catholic faith since 1835, St. Mary Delaware is a vital and vibrant community that engages the living God in worship and prayer, and in Word and Sacrament. Led by the Holy Spirit, and imploring the intercession of St. Mary, we desire to imitate her role of being the Christ bearer, and bear witness to her Son’s redeeming love that has been poured upon us in Baptism, and sustained by the practices and teachings of the Church.
