Our Mission Statement
The Respect Life Program is sponsored by the Catholic Bishops of the United States. Its goals are as follows:
- to proclaim sanctify and value human life as a gift from God and the foundation of human dignity.
- to oppose and ultimately do away with all that destroys or endangers human life.
- to support or encourage the development of whatever sustains, nourishes, or provides for the proper enjoyment of life.
- to place emphasis on and create advocacy for whatever meets particular needs of families and individuals.

The Rally for Life is Monday, January 23rd at noon on the Statehouse west plaza. Pray for good weather. We'll be rallying regardless of the weather. There is also a Mass at St. Joseph Cathedral at 10:30 a.m. Please consider attending Mass then walking to the rally. As of Saturday morning, the weather forecast is in the 40's.

St. Mary Respect Life Prayer
Heavenly Father, Let us quiet and humble ourselves to become engulfed in your glorious mercy. Let us always keep in mind how precious our very life is, not only from the moment of conception but even until the last moment before you call us home.
Teach us Father to be the hand and voices that you use to bring about a better understanding of how very precious life is in any form. Let us remember that You were no less precious when You first lay protected in your Mother Mary’s womb than You were those last moments on the cross, than You are at this very moment.
When we are unsure, give us knowledge, when we are afraid give us courage, when we are uncertain give us resolve, and when we are tired give us perseverance. Dear Lord, give us these gifts so that we might be able to help those that can not help themselves.
What a great joy for us to have the opportunity to serve you in this way. May we open our hearts to hear Your clear message and to Your everlasting goodness, Your mercy and Your love. We trust in You and love You……………. Amen
